Speaker Bio

Bronwyn has a long and varied career in nursing and midwifery and has held senior clinical and executive roles within Queensland Health for 25 years. As well as this, Bronwyn spent 13 years working in the University sector where she was in charge of the coordination of the clinical practicum component of the Nursing and Midwifery Programs and took interest in undertaking additional research and teaching activities.

Bronwyn now works for ACCPA ( Aged and Community Care Providers Association)  as Program Leader for the National Aged Care Transition to Practice Programs. Bronwyn is passionate about education and workforce solutions and is all about “busting the myths” of working as a nurse in the Aged and Community sector.
