Speaker Bio

As the founding Director of Pride Living, Bruce’s focus and commitment is in working with aged care providers to find practical and commercial solutions that assist them remain sustainable, focussed and financially viable in a complex environment. His expertise and passion are recognised nationally by providers, industry peaks and government. His work with the Aged Care Financing Authority (ACFA) as Client Director on an in-depth analysis of the factors influencing the financial performance of residential aged care and as lead editor on both RSM’s and Pride Living’s 2016 and 2017 Aged Care Sustainability Reviews are highly regarded throughout the sector.

He serves as a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit,  Risk Management and Compliance committee of RSL Life Care.

Bruce has more than 25 years’ experience in professional practice with a strong focus on aged care and the not-for-profit sector. He was formerly a Partner with RSM Australia where he was the National Head of their Aged Care and Retirement Advisory Practice.

He is a Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, is a Chartered Tax Advisor through the Taxation Institute of Australia, a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and registered Company Auditor. He holds both a Bachelor of Financial Administration, a Masters in Taxation Law and is currently completing a Masters in Public Health.
