Biography

A Training Professional with more than 20 years’ experience in the development, promotion, implementation and delivery of training programs with a passion for vocational education and community capacity building.  In her  role as Executive Director (ED) of Community Skills WA (CSWA) she has demonstrated capacity to take a leadership role in the development of the community services sector and health workforce with a particular focus on regional and remote locations. In addition to the provision of advice to State and Commonwealth government agencies, since assuming the role of ED in 2019, she has with the assistance of her team, facilitated the development of training strategies which continue to contribute directly to  capacity building of the community service and health sectors, ensuring CSWA is recognised as having a leading role in workforce development.  This included the establishment of skill set at the onset of COVID which aimed to provide a surge workforce for the Aged Care sector in WA and its subsequent transformation into the Ageing and Disability Job Ready Program.
