Biography

 

Detective Senior Sergeant Debbra-Lee Phillips is the Queensland police State Disability and Elder Abuse Coordinator. Her unit is within the State Domestic Family Violence and Vulnerable Persons Command.
Debbie has over 33 years of policing experience including 24 years as a Detective and DFV Coordinator. She developed the concept of embedded detectives in DV Units and case management of high risk DV offenders. She was part of the team that created the Gold Coast DV Taskforce, was awarded the National Crime Prevention Award and is a former Gold Coast Police Officer of the Year. She holds an Advanced Diploma of Police Investigations and a Graduate Certificate in Domestic Violence. Her passion is safety, accountability and collaboration.
