Biography

 

Emma Hayes brings over a decade of experience in the Workers Compensation sector, having commenced her tenure at WorkCover in 2015. With a rich background encompassing roles in both the private and public sectors, Emma has consistently demonstrated her expertise in enhancing claims management and rehabilitation outcomes for injured workers in the Health & Aged Care sectors.

Throughout her career journey, Emma has played a key role in transformational programs aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of claims processes. Her leadership has been instrumental in driving frontline claims management teams for businesses of varying sizes, including large government agencies, ensuring a holistic approach to support injured workers and organisations during the claim journey.

In her current role as Specialist Lead for Stakeholder Management, Emma plays a pivotal role in cultivating positive relationships with key stakeholders such as large government agencies, unions, and industry groups. In response to the increasing prevalence of mental injuries, Emma collaborates closely with organisations to provide education on injury prevention, how to foster a culture of safety leadership and promoting organisational well-being.
