Biography

Jemma O’Hanlon is an Advanced Accredited Practising Dietitian, nutrition consultant and media presenter with almost two decades of experience across the food production, manufacturing, foodservice and public health sectors, spending the first five years of her career in aged care.

Jemma is a Non-Executive Director and the Vice President of Dietitians Australia, the nation’s largest and most influential organisation for dietetic and nutrition professionals, representing over 8,800 dietitians across Australia and overseas. Jemma is also a Senior Food & Nutrition Advisor at the Heart Foundation.

As a trusted voice of authority, Jemma is often called upon by the media for her opinion on topical nutrition matters, from the latest fad diet and superfood to research breakthroughs and the big issues affecting the health of Australians. When Jemma’s not in the kitchen you’ll find her hiking out in nature or taking her energetic kelpie for a run.
