Speaker Bio

Julianne Parkinson is the founding CEO of the Global Centre for Modern Ageing (GCMA).

As CEO, Julianne is leading collaboration with partners across the globe and championing ground-breaking initiatives to reimagine and transform the second half of life. Working with governments, businesses, research intuitions, product developers, technology platform providers and citizens, the GCMA is achieving a positive impact in countries including Hong Kong, Israel, Singapore, Japan and Australia.

A frequent speaker at conferences in Australia and abroad, Julianne serves on the judging panels of prestigious awards, including the Ageing Asia Eldercare Innovation Awards.

Julianne is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and Adjunct Industry Fellow with the University of South Australia (UniSA). She is also an Advisory Board Member on the UniSA Post Graduate Advisory Board and Business School Advisory Board.  Julianne is a graduate of the Stanford Business School Innovative Technology Leader Program 2022.
