Biography
Laurie Leigh is the CEO of National Disability Services, a national association representing disability providers across Australia.
Since initially training as a registered nurse in the UK, Laurie has worked across many facets of health and human services, from mental health, safety and quality, primary health, aged care and disability. The focus of her current work is ensuring that people with disabilities have high quality services which supports them to be included in society, and that the NDIS works well to deliver the services needed.
Laurie is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and brings many years’ experience of corporate and clinical governance. She is a registered nurse, has a Mathematics BA(Hons) and a Masters in Health Services Management.
