Lyndon Stevenson

CEO, Community Transport Services Tasmania (CTST)

Biography

Lyndon is proudly Tasmanian with extensive community development experience at both a state and national level. Over the last 20 years, Lyndon has worked across a range of community sectors including sport and recreation, employment, training, youth, aged care, disability and transport. Lyndon is focused on high-quality, fair and efficient community development.

Lyndon is currently a Director of the national peak body for community transport in Australia (ACTA) since 2015, and the peak body for community transport in Victoria and Tasmania (VTCTA) since 2016, of which he has previously been Chair for both organisations.

Lyndon commenced his role as CEO of Community Transport Services Tasmania Inc (CTST) in May 2015. Lyndon pursued the opportunity to work with CTST because the organisation aligns with his passion for helping communities address issues of access and inclusion.

Prior to his appointment at CTST Lyndon held the position of Chief Operating Officer/ Deputy CEO of a large youth charity, Whitelion, covering Victoria, Tasmania, Western Australia, South Australia and New South Wales.

Away from the office, Lyndon enjoys spending time with his wife and children, fishing, cycling, and tending to his small hobby farm in the Huon Valley, Tasmania where he breeds Belted Galloway cattle. Lyndon is very active in his local community and is involved in a range of community activities.
