A front-line Sergeant and member of Victoria Police police for over 23 years Patrick has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of Emergency Management & Operational Command.

Patrick has managed several high-risk incidents and emergencies across his policing career including numerous critical incidents involving individuals suffering mental health crisis.

Patrick’s operational experience has seen him deliver presentations at a number of forums and courses including presenting at the Global Challenges Local Solutions Policing and Security conference in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates in 2015 and Ottawa, Canada in relation to police response to mental health crisis in 2017.

Patrick holds two Master’s degrees from Charles Sturt University in Emergency Management & Leadership & Management (Policing & Security) in addition to a Bachelor Of Criminology from Deakin University and Diploma of Paramedic Science (Ambulance) through Victoria University.
