Biography

Dr Shelley Campos is a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Physician, registered with the Medical Board of Australia and holds a Fellowship with the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (FACEM). Driven by her passion to deliver equitable, accessible healthcare to WA, Dr Shelley Campos has been practicing as a specialist in the Perth Metropolitan region for over ten years.
Currently her role is the State-Wide Lead for ‘System Flow and Reform’ at the WA Department of Health, leading a range of systemwide healthcare initiatives aimed to improve the entire patient journey including the State Health Operations centre, WA Virtual ED and Outpatient Reform.
Previously appointed as the Director of Medical Education at Rockingham Hospital and Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Western Australia. Dr Shelley Campos’ expertise extends throughout her range of experience in improving healthcare across Australia, including health leadership, medical education, change management and digital healthcare.
Dr Shelley Campos was the Clinical Lead for Covid-19 at Rockingham General Hospital, an Ambulance Service Medical Advisor with St John Ambulance and has provided pre-hospital emergency virtual healthcare for the Eastern states of Australia.
