Vanessa Krulin

Solicitor & Senior Policy & Research Officer, ADA Law


Vanessa advocates for the human rights and decision-making participation of persons with questioned capacity at ADA Law, a community legal centre that specialises in assisting people with disability and older persons. Individual casework supports and informs Vanessa’s policy and research role for ADA Australia in systemic advocacy; providing advice and consultation with stakeholders, community and industry organisations, and government.

Vanessa’s current projects with ADA include attaining the WHO’s recognition of ADA as an organisation that is working to combat ageism, expanding ADA’s individual advocacy services for persons with disability located across Queensland, and further developing ADA’s engagement with government on end-of-life choices, including the introduction of VAD legislation.

Vanessa has a strong background in legal policy, elder and disability law, energy and resources, and criminal law, and is currently completing her Masters of Law at UQ.
